Dear Friends,

Welcome to your new community living room – a 21st century library to serve all of Cumberland County. Since the dream of the county’s first library was born in the living rooms of the ladies of the Art Circle more than 100 years ago, our county has grown beyond their wildest imaginations.  

Our new, exciting library will be a place for all of the people of Cumberland County to read, learn, and grow; where we can access the world through information technology; and where we can meet in groups large and small for discourse with our neighbors. The programs and services of the library are free and accessible to the residents of Cumberland County of all ages and all interests.   It will be a welcoming place for the entire county to enjoy.
